Director's Biography
Sherif El Bendary was born in 1978 in Cairo and, after working as a textile engineer, joined the higher Cinema Institute to study directing in 2002. He worked as an assistant director on many commercial Egyptian features & his debut documentary, 6 Girls (2005), screened at DIFF 2005 & won awards at two festivals in Cairo. Sabah El Foll is his fiction debut.
