Director's Biography

Saeed Taji Farouky is a freelance journalist & photographer who specializes in the politics & culture of the Arab World. His work has been published by The Observer, The Telegraph, The Independent, Sight & Sound, Reuters, Aljazeera Online, BBC Online, The Economist Group, British Journal of Photography, & Open Democracy, amongst others. He is also co-director of the documentary production company Tourist With A Typewriter. He was recently an artist-in-residence with the British Museum's Arab World Education Program & is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab British Centre.
