Synopsis

Eight thousand Palestinians are imprisoned in Israeli jails today. They are called "Security Prisoners." For most Israelis, they are assassins & criminals. For most Palestinians, they are heroes & freedom fighters.

Hot House is a documentary-feature that explores the emergence of Palestinian national leadership in Israeli prisons in light of the elections to the Palestinian Parliament. The film provides a unique opportunity to observe events of historic proportions at their nascent. It exposes the cycle of violence, the evolution of a conflict characterized by vast asymmetry in balance of power & the ethics of war.
