March 6: Film Festival Benefit, Varsity Theater

Join us for a benefit to celebrate our upcoming Arab Film Festival. We will be showing the Egyptian film, "Alexandria Why". Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival and directed by Youssef Chahine, it is considered a landmark of Arab Cinema. "Alexandria...Why?" was widely banned in the Arab World at the time of its release in 1978.
