Synopsis

Wahab is a young Montrealer of Lebanese descent. Shortly after celebrating his birthday, his father dies. Suddenly, Wahab's easy way of life comes to a brutal stop. Faced with his family's refusal to allow his father to be buried in the family vault, Wahab decides to have his father buried in his native village of Kfar Ryat, in Lebanon.

But, in Lebanon, where they can do without another corpse, Wahab will be rocked to a revealing encounter with himself. A series of experiences, some grave & some lighter, will jolt Wahab out of his North-American jaunty mode & into a ruthless universal reality.
